Luxurious makeup primer from YSL is here!
The Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Blur Primer strives for prepping the skin so foundation could be applied with increased ease. As well, the product mentions its ability to minimize appearance of pores and even out skin tones.
The star ingredients are corn oil, apricot kernel oil, passiflora oil, and rice bran oil so skin feel supple and smooth. It’s also advertised as noncomedogenic and suitable for all skin types.
The bottle holds 30ml of preciousness and retails for $55CAD. I obtained a sample of the primer and could not wait to share with you!
With one pump, it’s more than enough for your entire face. The texture is smooth and easy to glide on. A small amount goes a long way. It contains a bits of gold to create the shimmering and healthy radiance effect.
Left: before primer / Right: after primer
My skin has gotten bad recently. Probably the lack of sleep due to excessive heat and hotness of summer nights. I’ve been waking up to stuffiness and unbearable temperatures in the middle of the night. My skin tone is definitely uneven, redness showing up again and overall it’s just a disaster (sigh). You can see on the Right side that my skin is calmed down a bit after using the YSL Touche Eclat Blur. The redness is somewhat gone; however, not much else has changed.
I applied Lancome Teint Idol afterwards. I still used one pump of the foundation but it turns out I actually need less! Half a pump or less than half will be enough for my entire face!
All I could say is YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer will save you big bucks because it does help your foundation go on easier and more even. In the long-run, you will save a couple big bucks because you don’t run out foundations as fast.
After a long day of work, I met with my friend and this is the look after work. No touch-up and no blotting. Skin still seem even and no oxidation.
I am pleased with the YSL Touche Eclat Blur Primer but I may need to win the lottery before actually buying the product. The price is out of my budget and for $55 I expect a lot more than just “prepping” and “saving foundation usage”.
I wish it could provide a higher radiance or some moisturizing effect as well. If you have also tried this primer, feel free to share with me! I want to know what you think 🙂
Enjoy the rest of your beautiful day!
XOXO

Hi Saitorial Coquette,
Yes, the primer helps the foundation to last longer. I do recommend this to oily or combination skin types. For dehydrated skin ladies- do use a more moisturizing primer before applying this. Thx for the comment and I love ur funky & edgy fashion sense. It’s one to stand out!
